Onya McCausland

Onya McCausland studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art graduating with a BA in 1994. She went on to study painting at UCL Slade School of Fine Art in London graduating with an MFA in 1999.  Since then she has held numerous exhibitions of her work in the UK including most recently; From the Source - Salt Green (Wall Drawing) Newlyn Gallery Transitions 2008, English Red Earth Gloucester Cathedral Artist-in-Residence 2008, Contact  7a Bricklane and ECO Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre 2008.

In 1995 she was awarded a Boise Travel Scholarship to Siwa Oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt for a year of research.

Onya teaches at Hasting College of Art and University of Gloucestershire. She lives and works in London.
