Nuno Nabais
Nuno Nabais holds a BA in Philosophy from the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (1979), a Masters in Contemporary Philosophy from the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (1983), and a PhD in Contemporary Philosophy from the Universidade de Lisboa (1995). He is a Professor of Philosophy at the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal) since 1995, and an Invited Lecturer in the Masters in History and Philosophy of Sciences at FCUL, where he is responsible for the course ‘Science, Ethics and Politics’. Nuno Nabais was Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa (Medical School) between 1998 and 2004 where he was responsible for the course ‘Philosophy of Knowledge’, and was an Invited Lecturer in the Arts Department at the Universidade de Évora, between 1999 and 2006, where he was responsible for the course “Theory of Labour of the Actor”. Nuno Nabais is the Director of the Fábrica Braço de Prata, and the owner of the “Eterno Retorno” bookstore.
