ARCHAEOLOGICAL ILLUSTRATION OF PREHİSTORIC SİTES

Information obtained from archaeological excavations is evalueted by archaeologists and other scientists related issues. This evaluation will continue with the metods in Archaeological Sciences, and the assessments of the results are shared with other scientists by scientific publications. At this stage, illustrator has a major task that falls on. All the finds from excavations, correctly and detailed drawings should be prepared for publication. However, today illustrators who works in the field of archeology has a new task: the interpretation of archaeological sites. Cultural Heritage Managements is possible with public participation and awareness. Especially in prehistoric sites, reconstruction of the past life has become an important tool in interpreting of archeological past and transmitting to public. My reason for coming together with Guida Casella in this field that is my desire to complete the information of mine.

I graduated Protohistory department in İstanbul University, then I finished my M.A. in Prehistory Department in same University at 2002. Last year, I finished my Ph.D. in Prehistory Department on “Cultural Heritage Management in Prehistoric Sites”. From the first year of my studentship in archaeology, I have been working as draftsman in archaeological projects. I have worked on mainly prehistoric sites. I am working on small find and all drawings needed for archaeological publications. I am also interested and work on archaelogical reconstruction for my future works as an archaelogical interpreter.
